High expectations for the latest addition to our overseas network.
P.T. GALVA KAMI INDUSTRY, employing 200 staff, was established in 1994
with a view to the creation of a new production base in Indonesia, a country
which has been developing at an astonishing pace. This latest addition
to our Asian network is situated in an almost ideal location which is endowed
with clean and beautiful surroundings. The buildings on the premises are
kept immaculate and well equipped, and the plant has earned a reputation
for being a comfortable workplace. Such an environment is well suited for
the production of highly precise electronic components, which are for the
Indonesian market. The plant produces, among other things, 150,000 power
transformers, 200,000 switching transformers and 200,000 low frequency
transformers per month, with the aid of state-of-the-art equipment. Currently,
the work force at this plant is rather young, and our customers in Indonesia
have great expectations for its future performance. For our part, KAMI
ELECTRONICS IND. CO., LTD. is certainly intending to enhance the plant's
production capabilities, with the hope of contributing further to the development
of Indonesia
